The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
_ upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.• . - ,
2. That the nature of the imprbvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and _take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills,
including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or remainder thereof,
_ , occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading and sur-
facing with bituminous material Ivy Ave. from Park St. to Sylvan St. Also construct -
storm watei drainage facilities, sewer service connections, and water service connections
� in ivy Ave. , in accordance with the blueprint hereto attached and ma.de a part hereof,
the hatched portions showing the cuts and the .shaded portions shawing the fills.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $� 50.00
� Resolved Further;That a public hearing be had .on said improvement on the 2nd day of
J��;.-,—�Q6�i , at the hour�of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
sa.id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nat,ure of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
