The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of th�e Commissioner of F'inance .
. ' upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
• 1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
. is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. . �
2. That the nature of th� improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of Syndicate Street from Portland ,
Avenue south approximately 181 feet and on the�south side of Portland Avenue from
Syndicate Street west approximately 62 feet and by doing all other work which is �
neces�ary and incidental to complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient
poured sidewalks now exist, _ � - �
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.25 ner lin ft for 5' wide walk
• . _ $ 3.80 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a puulic hearing be had on said improvement on the 25th day of
- _ June, 1968 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the �City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and bhe total cost thereof as estimated. '
