In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk and replace portions with integral
curb and sidewalk on both sides of Universitq Avenue from Grotto Street to Avon
Street and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete
said improvemant �
under Preliminary Order 238216 approved • Auril 23, 1968 '
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said r2port and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement �
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. �
2. That the nature of th� improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk and replace portions with integral curb and. sidewalk
`ori bot`h-sides of University Avenue from Grotto Street to Avon Street and by doing
all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, except
where good and sufficient poured sidewalks now exist � -
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.25 per lin ft for 5' wide walk �

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on sa,id improvement on the 25th day of

House and City Hall Building in the �City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
- said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
