WHEREAS, a request has been received from Catholic Charities of the Saint Paui/Minneapolis
Archdiocese for the release of:
1) Slope easement rights originally taken by Council File No. 207035, approved May 2, 1962, (also
recarded as Doc. Nos. 454625 and 1586821); and
6 2) A Deed of Negative Easement taken by Council File No. 187978, Ordinance No. 11278,
7 approved July 9, 1958, said Deed recorded as Doc. No. 396589,
8 on its property located at 1034 Lafond Avenue, Saint Paul; and

10 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Department of Public Works and the Depariment of Planning and Economic
ll Development have determined that said easements are no longer needed; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that based upon an easement Certificate of Intended Non-Use filed voluntarily by the
Saint Paul Department of Public Works for release of the slope easement, and the advace of the
Department of Planning and Economic Development and the Office of City Attorney for the Deed of
Negative Easement, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, on behaif of the City for itself and on behalf of
these departments, does hereby waive and release the above described easements at 1034 Lafond
Avenue; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that upon passage of this resolution, the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
record a copy of this resolution in the office of the County Recorder, Ramsey County, and that the City
Clerk shall maintain a copy of the Certificate of Intended Non-Use referenced in this resolurion on file in
the Offace of Citizen Services.
