• RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, tools,
material, supplies and equipment required for the grading, bituminous curbs and
bituminous surfacing installation of the catch basin and do all other work
shown, described or implied in the Plans, St. Paul Specifications and Special
Provisions for WELLS STREET, Forest Street to Duchess Street, Saint Paul,
Minnesota to ARMOR COAT COMPANY, INC. for the contract price of $1,882.00 ,
(Plus Engineering Charge - $244.66; Inspection Charge - $37.64 and Finance :
Charge - $12.60) in accordance with plans and specifications, and Formal Bid
#2892 of said Armor Coat Company, Inc. , such bid being the lowest and said
Armor Coat Company, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draft the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
