RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby authorizes the proper City officers to egecute , on its
behalf, a Rider to Agreement between the City of Saint Paul
and the St. Paul Municipal Baseball Association, the St. Paul
Municipal Football Association, the St. Paul Municipal
Basketball Association, the St. Paul Municipal Hockey Asso—
ciat�on, and the St. Paul Municipal Softball Association,
a copy of which is hereto attached, marked "Eghi� A" and
incorporated herein by reference.

RIDER TO AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, On the 16th d�y of May, 1960, a certain
Agreement was entere into by and between the St. Paul Municipal
Baseball Association, the St. Paul Municipal Football Association,
the St. Paul Municipal Basketball Association, the St.Paul
Municipal Hockey Association, and the St. Paul Municipal Soft-
ball Association, and the City of Saint Paul ; and
WHEREAS, Said Agreement has been extended annually by
riders to said Agreement, the last egtension thereof expiring
on the 30th day of April, 1g68; and
WHEREAS, It is presently the desire of the parties to �
egtend said Agreement, as amended, for an additional period of
one year from the first day of May, 1968, through the 30th day
of April, i96g; now, therefore , it is
AGREED, by and between the parties hereto as hereinabove
set f�th that for good and valuable consideration, each to the
otherLpaid, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, that the
aforesaid Agreement, as amended, is egtended for the period
from May 1, 1968, to and including the 30th day of April, 196,9,
IT IS FURTHER AGREED That the City of Saint Paul will
pay to the parties of the first part the sum of One Hundred
Seventy-Five Dollars (�175 . 00�)} upon execution of this Rider to
' Agreement, which sum represents a portion of the cost of a
worl�nen' s comp�ensation insurance policy which the parties of
the first part agree to procure and at all times during the
period of this Agreement to keep in effect, to cover their
personnel participating as referees , umpires , linesmen, goal
judges and scorers in the programs of the parties of the first

described in the aforesaid Agreement of th e 16th �ay of May,

1960, as amended. The payment of the+tiaforesaid sum of One
Hundred Seventy-five Dollars (�175 .00) shall be out of Parks
and Refe�ctories Fund No. 2700-261.
IT IS FURTHER AGREED by and between the parties hereto
that all of the other terms , provisions and conditions of the
agreement of May 16, 1g60, as amended, between the parties ,
shall continue in full force and effect.
