Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the
City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works, Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale
Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, ;�One - Front End Loader with Grader Attachment and
Transport Trailer to TRI-STATE MACHINERY COI�ANY for the contract price of $6,806.00,
in accordance with City Specifications therefor and the Formal Bid ��2836 of said
Tri-State Machinery Company, such bid being the only bid received and said bidder
being a reasonable and reliable one and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is ,
directed to draft the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials �
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.

Section 1. Tha.t the proper City officers are hereby authorized
and directed to pay out of the Tort Liability Fund 0035-421, to Mary B.
Theisen, tha swn of $1,000.00, in full settlement of her claim for damages
and injuries sus�ained by reason of a fall on a defective sidewalk in

front of 75� South Cleveland:Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota, on October 18, ��

5ection 2. That said sum shall be paid to the said claimant
upon her execution and delivery of a release in full to the City, in a
form to be approved by the Corporation Counsel, for all damages and injuries
sustained in tihe manner afaresaid.
Section 3. That this ordi.nance shall take effect and be in
force thirty days after its passage, approval and publication. -
