WHEREAS , 'Carolen Bailey, an employee of the Department of
Public Safety� Bureau of Police , was injured in a third party
accident on February 2 , 1965 , while engaged in the performance
of her duties for said Bureau ;a�d
WHEREAS , the City has incurred medical expense in the amount
of $354.15 therefor, and employee was disabled from work for a
period of time being Paid salary in the amount of $85.14; and
WHEREAS , a settlement has been negotiated between said
employee and the other party involved in the accident, out of
which the City will receive $246 .30 of its subrogation interest
by reason of injury to its employee after payment of its pro-
�� portionate share of costs and at�orney's fees; now, therefore,
be it •
RESOLVED, that the �roper City Officers are hereby authorized
� to accept in full, final and complete settlement of its claim
herein the sum of $246 .30 and to execute any necessary releases
therefor; that of said sum $46 . 80 is thereby credited to the
Police Salary Fund and $199 .50 to the Workmen's Compensation Fund.
