under Preliminary Order 237642 approvecL— March 19, 1968
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the repart of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report,`hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be prceeeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council reeommends is
to reeonstruct the sidewalk on both sides of Farringt�a Street fron iiest Narqlaad
Avenue to West �range Avenue and by doing all other wor�C which is neetssary aad �-� ����
incidental to co�plete said inprovement, except where:;�ood and sufficient poured
sidewalks now exist
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ �-?S ;j�r t n f t f or 5' wide wa lk
$ 3.$0 per lin ft for 6' Wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 9th day of
MA3c, �9�g , at the hour of 10 dclock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of.Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the C�;arter, stating the time and place of
hearin�, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereo� as estimated. �
