The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report:of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reeonstruet the sidewalk on the north side of Ttiomas ��renue from Snelling
Aveans to Asburq Street, on the east side of Snelli�g Avamue frc�a Th�mas Avenue
to �.afe�d Avesue and on the aouth side of Lafond Avenue �om Snelling Aveflue to
Asburq Str�et and by doing all other �work which is aece�ISary and incide�tal to
coaplete said improvement, exc�pt where go:0d and auffici�t poured sidewalks now
exist
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.25 ger lia ft for 5' wide walk
$ 3.84 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
_ Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvem�nt on the 9th day of
MaX, 1968 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notxce of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
