RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract for furn�dthing all materials, equipment (except that specified to be
furnished by the Owner), tools, and plant; the performance of all necessary labor, and the
construction complete, including all work appurtenant thereto, of new Liquid Carbon Dioxide
Standbq Facilities for the Water Department, Saint Paul, Minnesota , to D. W. HICKEY �
COMPANY, INC. for the contract price of $16,789.00, in accordance with bid specifications
and Contract Documents for Contract No. 11, McCarron Plant Liquid Carbon Dioxide Standby
Facilities 1968 Extensions Project No. 4409 and Formal Bid #2799 of said D. W. Aickey �
C�pany, Inc. , such bid being the lowest and said D. W. Aickey & Company, Inc. being a
reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby� is directed to
draft the prop�r form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials herebq are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Qity of Saint Paul.
