RESOLVED, That the Council herebq approves the award of the Purchasing Co�ittee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering approximately 4,000 Tons
BITUMINOUS MIXTURE for patching to the City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works,
F.O.B. Bidder's Plant, Saint Paul, Minnesota, to PENNIG ASPHALT COMPANY for the contract
price of approximately $17,360.00 (@ $4.34 Net Ton), in accordance with City specifications
and the Formal Bid #2774 of said Pennig Asphalt Company, such bid being the lowest
meeting specifications and said Pennig Asphalt Company being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is suthorized to draft the proper foran
of contract therefor and the proper Citq officials are hereby directed to execute said�
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
