directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of St. Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the preliminary order
of the Council known as Council File No. 237002 approved Feb. 6th.19 68
relative to reconstructin� the sidewalk on both sides of Goodrich Ave. from Milton St.
to Chatsworth St and bv doinQ all other work which is necessarv and incidental to
comvlete said imurovement
and having fnvestigated the m$tters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $3.25 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk 5 �:�J
wide and $3.80 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk 6 ft. wide.

advising that you plan to reconstruct the
sidewalk on both sides of Goodrich Avenue
fxrom Milton Street to Chatsworth Street.
Please be advised and record the fact that
we have had our walks replaced just a few
years ago and that new walks at this time are
unnecessary at 969 Goodrich Avenue.
I have all I could possibly manage with the
present taxes and mortgage payments. There-
fore � please be sure to make the necessary
recordings for our property.
