The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and havin� considered said report, hereby resolves:
, 1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to improve VAIiD�ALIA STB�ET fro� I.S. Hc�. 94 to Univeraity Avenue by gradiag, paving,
and curbing; bq constructing and recottstructing sida�alk; by constructing etreet and
driveway returns; by construc,�ing storm water draiaage facilities; by con�trncting
sewer, water, and gas service conaections; by coastructing aa ornamental lighting
syste�; by recoa�tructing traffic control systems; �d by doing all other t�ork
�ich is aecessary aad iacideatal to co�aplete said inprovemeat. .
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ $3,603.10
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 16th d�y of
�pril, 1968 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A:M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. PauL That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
sa,id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Chaxter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the na,ture of the improvement and the total oost thereof as estimated. .
