COUNCIL RESOLUT ON—GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, bg and through its
Bureau of Poliee of the �epartment of Publie Safety, is
retainin� $+1�5.65, which money wa� found, in part, on the
person of Robert George Ferrise and, in part, in his auto-
mobile in the pocket of a leather �a�ket on September 8, 1967;
WHEREAS, such recovery of money was made by the police
in pursuing him after he had commi�ted a robbery of Koury's
Bar, 1180 East S�venth Street, St . Paul, Minnesota on September
�, 7-967,
WHEREAS, �aid Robert Geor�e Ferrise did eign a statemen�
on Sc�ptember 8, 1967, admitting the robbery and did therein
asser� that oniy $30.00 of' the $1�F5 .65 was his own; and there-
after wa� confined to Stillwater State Frison for said robbery
and is presently there; and
WHEREAS, on February 28, 1968, Koury'a Bar did file a clairn
with the CounciZ of the City o� Saint Paul, stating that it
claimed the right to ��id $115.0�; now, therefore, be it
RLSOLVED, that the roper City offiaers are authorized and
directed to release the �115.�0 being now re�ained to Morin Koury
d/b/a Koury�s Bar upon his execution and delivery of a release
and' an indemnity agreement in form approved by the Corporation
Counsel of the City of Saint Pau1; and said City officers are
authorized and directed to enter into said indemnity a�reement
on behalf of the City.
