RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Cou�ittee therefor
and hereby awards contract to ALLIS-CHALMERS MANUFACTURING COMPANY for furnishing and
delivering to the Board of Water Commissioners One (1) Horizontal Split-Case Centrifugal
Type Electric Motor Driven Pumping Unit and One (1) Horizontal Split-Case Centrifugal Type
Dual Electric Motor and Natural Gas Engine Driven Pumping Unit, Complete, delivered F. 0. B.
McCarron Plant, 1900 Rice Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, for the net contract price of
$81,307.71, in accordance with Contract Documents for Contract No. 7 Furnishing of McCarron
Pumping Station Pumping Equipment, 1967 Extension DHUD Project No. WS-4-24-0007 prepared
by Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers, and Formal Bid ��2726 of said Allis-Chalmers
Manufacturing Company, such bid being the lowest and said Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing �
Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draft the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract �1� behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
