RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract to LIQUID CARBONIC CORPORATION for furnishing and
delivering to the Board of Water Commissioners Two (2) Insulated Liquid Carbon Dioxide
Storage Tanks compfiete with refrigeration units, controls, valves, safety devices,
accessories and appurtenances, delivered F. 0. B. , McCarron Plant, 1900 Rice Street,
St. Paul, Minnesota, for the contract price of $34,030.00, in accordance with Contract ,
Documents for Contract No. 10 Furnishing of McCarron Plant Liquid Carbon Dioxide
Storage Tanks, 1967 Extensions DHUD Project WS-4-24-0007 prepared by Black � Veatch,
Consulting Engineers, and Formal Bid ��2729 of said Liquid Carbonic Corporation, such
bid being the lowest and said Liquid Carbonic Corporation being a reasonable and reliable
bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draft the proper form
of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
