RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract to ARMCO STEEL CARPORATION - Met�l Products Division
for furnishing and delivering to the Board of Water Commissioners Four (4) - 60 x 48 inch
and 1�ao (2) - 84 x 84 inch Sluice Gates, Complete with Extension Stems, Stem Guides, Stem
Covers, Floor Stand Operators, Special Wall Thimbles and Anchor Bolts, delivered F. 0. B.,
McCarron Plant, 1900 Rice Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, for the contract price of $20,597.00,
in accordance with Contract Documents for Contract No. 9 Furnishing of McCarron Plant
Sluice Gates, 1967 Extensions DHUD Project No. WS-4-24-0007 prepared by Black & Veatch,
Consulting Engineers, and Formal Bid ��2728.of said Armco Steel Corporation, such bid
being the lowest and said Armco Steel Corporation being a reasonable and reliable bidder,
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draft the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
