RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering approximately 5234
Lineal Feet of 16" Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe with Rubber and Steel Joint and
all necessary fittings and appurtenances to the Citv of Saint Paul, Water Department,
F. 0. B. Saint Paul, Minnesota to a spur track to be designated, to PRICE BROTHERS
COMPANY for the contract price of approximately $37,527.78, in accordance with City
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid �2734 of said Price
Brothers Company, such bid being the lowest and said Price Brothers Company being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized
to draft the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby
directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul..
