Sqbject: SW corner of Scheffer & Pleasant
The Departrnent of Public Works has reviewed the request of David Gageby,
regarding acquisition of the property at the southwest corner of Scheffer
and Pleasant Avenues. This property was condemned by the City for the
opening, widening and extending Short Line Road, now known as Ayd Mill
Road. I have copies of the intermediary orders, CF 170772, approved Nov.
3, 1954; Final Order in Condemnation Proceedings, CF 171043, approved Dec.
3, 1954; and Res. Ratifying and Confirming Condemnation, CF 171728,
approved Jan. 26, 1955. Let me know if you need a copy of these resolutions.
The legal description of the properry is as follows:
6ccept the west 100 feet, the north 100 feet of Block 3, Lexington Park
Plat 11.
The Department of Public Works has no objection to declaring this as
surplus right-of-way so it can be vacated and developed.
