This property was condemned by the City for the opening, widening and extending Short Line Road, now known as Ayd Mill Road. I have copies of the intermediary orders, CF 170772, approved Nov. 3, 1954; Final Order in Condemnation Proceedings, CF 171043, approved Dec. 3, 1954; and Res. Ratifying and Confirming Condemnation, CF 171728, approved Jan. 26, 1955. Let me know if you need a copy of these resolutions. The legal description of the properry is as follows: 6ccept the west 100 feet, the north 100 feet of Block 3, Lexington Park Plat 11. The Department of Public Works has no objection to declaring this as surplus right-of-way so it can be vacated and developed.
