W HEREAS, the Phalen Boulevard - Phase 1 construction between Mississippi Street and Payne
Avenue has been completed as shown on the attached map; and
WHEREAS, this project involved making a new Cayuga Street connection from I-35 E to the new
Phalen Boulevard; and
W HEREAS, one block of Cayuga Street already exists just to the north of the new Cayuga Street
connection which necessitates a street name change; and
WHEREAS, the one remaining property owner with an address on the old portion of Cayuga Street
has been notified of the need for the street name change; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the one block of Cayuga Street bounded by Westminster and Arkwright Streets,
York Avenue and vacated Whitall Street, as shown on the attached map, is officially renamed as
OLD CAYUGA STREET; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this street name change shall be effective on June 30, 2004.
