OUNCIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM

WI-�REAS, an application has been made by the City of
Saint Paul pursuant to Council File No. 236605 for an additional
grant of Federal funds under Title I of the Housing Act of �94g,
as amended, in an amount not to exceed �20,000 to assist in
financing the preparation of a 1g68 Summer Youth Pro gram as part
of the Gommunity Renewal Program of the City of Saint Paul , a
copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by
referenee ; and
WFIEREAS, said application has been approved by the Federal
government ; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED� That the Department of Human Rights is hereby
authorized and directed to plan and execute said program and ap-
prove a1Z expenditures therefor; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� That the City Planning Board and Depart-
ment of Human 8ights are hereby authorized and directed to execute
such interdepartmental agreements as require d by the Federal govern-
ment; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED� That the Gomptroller is hereby authorized
and directed to establish a special revenue fund to be known as
"Planning Summer Youth Program Fund" and to assign a suitable
number for this fund ; and be it

FINALLY RESOLVED, That the Director of Human Rights is
hereby directed to report the progress of the program to the
Planning Board at such times and in such detail as requested by
the City Planning Director.
