The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of �nance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the"said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the aidewalk on both sides of Bayard Ave. fraa Caatoa St. to Bay
St. :snd by doing all other work �hich is necessarq and incidental to cer�plete safd
i�proireaent, except Where good and suffici�nt poured sidewalks aaw exist.
with no alternatives, and tl�at the estimated cost thereof is $3.25 per lia. ft. for 5' walk
$3.80 per lia. ft. for 6' walk
Resolved Fur��er, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 12 th day of
Marc 1968 , , at the hour of 10 dclock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City af St. Paul. That'the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
i said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as eatimated.
