under Prelimin�ry Order 236815 approved Januarq 24, 1968.
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance -
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves;
- L That the sa.id report and the sa,me is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconatruct the sidewalk on both aidea of Bmea �t. f`rrnn Western Ave. to Chicago,
MilWaukee, St. Panl and Pacific R.R. R/�+I and by doing all other wark �ich is �ecesaarp
and incidental to eomplete eaid impravement, except where good astd �ufficient poured
sideWalks anctiw exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated coat thereof is 3.25 per 1in. ft. for 5' walk

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement an the 12 th day of
MA*��968.. , at the hour of 10 o'cicek A.1VI., in the Cauncil Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof aa eatimated.
