Dear Sir:
This is in reference to the application of Lloyd J. Stransky for
a permit for a 30 car addition to a drive-in restaurant parking
lot. This additional parking will be located at the northwest
corner formed by W. Seventh Street, Erie Street and Jefferson Avenue.
(See the attached legal description.
This matter was considered at the December 7, 1967 Board of Zoning
meeting. The staff reported that the Traffic Engineer had reviewed
the plan and recommended that there be no driveway on Seventh Street.
The plan meets most of the design standards for this type of faci-
lity, however:. , wheelstops should be pro�ided along the north property
line and a new sidewalk should be provided along W. Seventh Street.
Therefore, the Board of Zoning recommended approval of the 30�car
parking lot expansion provided that, 1) there be no driveway along
W. Seventh Street, 2) wheelstops be provided along the north property
line, and 3) a new sidewalk be provided along W. Seventh Street.
It should be noted that the applicant is agreeable to these changes
and has submitted new plans showing the changes.
