WHEREAS , Raymond Hermann, an employee of the Department of
Public Safety� Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party
accident on February 7 , 1967 , while engaged in the performance
of his duties for said Bureau; and
WHEREAS , the City has incurred medical expense in the
amount of $66.50 therefor, and said employee was disabled from
work for a period of time being paid s�lary in the amount of
$321.39 ; and
WHEREAS , a corapromise settlement has been negotiated between
said employee and the other party involved in said accident,
which provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount
of $193.95 ; now, therefore , be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized
to accept in full, final and complete settlea�ent of its claim
herein the sum of $193.95 and to ex�cute any necessary releases
therefor, and endorse Draft No. OQ36�3 of Great Central Insuranee
Company in the amount of $1,487. 89 ; to accept the sum of $193.95
and to issue a draft for the remainder of said sum to Raymond
Hermann, employee; that of said net settlement, $159.04 is thereby
credited to the Police Salary Fund and $34.91 to the Workraen's
Compensation Fund.
