WI�REAS, examinations are to be given for the positions of
"Clerk-Typist I" and "Clerk-Stenographer I", and
WI�RF,AS, it is highly unlikely that sufficient lists for
perme.nent work can be established from among residents of the
City, and
W�REAS, it is deemed in the best interest o� the City to
extend competition to persons living outside of the City; now
therefore, be it�
RESOLVED, that the residence requirements for admission to
exarni.nations as provided in Section 10 D of the Civil Service
l�z].es are hereby waived for the first examinations for "Clerk-
Typist I" and "Clerk-Stenographer T" for permanent work to be
held following passage oY this resolution; date of the examinations
to be set at the discretion of the Chief Civil Service Exami.ner.
