In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on both sid�s of Baker Street from
4ttawa Avenue to Cherolcee Avenue and by doing all other work which is aecesaary and
incidental to complete said improvement
under Preliminary Order 236427 approved .�anu„r�. 2, 1968
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: '
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstrnct the sidewalk on both sides of Baker Street frc�n Ottawa Avenue to
Cherokee Ave�ue aad by doing all other work phich is necessarq and iacidental to
cv�plete �aid iffi�rovement, except where good and sufficie�t poured aidewalks now
exist .
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $_ 3.25 �er lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 3.80 pmr lin ft for 6' wide valk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 20th , day of
Febreiary, 1968 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta.ting the time and plac�e of
hearing, the na,ture of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
