WHEREAS, Ramsey Couniy is embazking on a� effort to improve ihe Gustafson-Phalen Ice Arena and has ra�uested the
participation of the City of St Paul, the St. Paul School DisIIict, and communiry supporters; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Ciry of Saint Paul, upon the recommendation of the
Mayor and [he advice of the Long Range Capital Imprwement Budget Committee, that S 100,000 is available for
appropriation in the 2004 Capital Improvement Budget, and that the 2004 Capital Improvement Budget, as heretofore
adopted and aznended by Council, is hereby further amended as follows:

Raiusey County is embarking on a$400,000 effort to improve the Gustafson-Pl�alen Ice Arena and has requesied the participation of
the City of St Paul, the St. Paul School District, and community supporteis. Improvements to the 1975 arena include two addilional
