In the Matter of condemaing and taking an easeeaent in the Zand nece�eary for
the slopes, cuts and fills, includiag right of removal of lateral support from
sub�ect lsad or remainder thereof, occasioned, by excavations thereof or construction
of slopes in the grsding and surfacing with bituainous material WELLS STRBBT from
Forest Stre�t to Dnchess Street
under Preliminary Order 236399 approved if�ceml��r 29, 196�
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of F�nance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature o# the improvement which tHe Gc�uncil reeommends is
to condenn and take an easen�nt in t�e land necessarqrfor� the slopes, cuts aad filla,
including right o€ reaoval of laterel snpport from subject land or remainder thereof,
occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the �rading and surfacing
witi� bitu�inons material WBLLS STRRET from Forest Street to Duc'hess Street, in
accordance with the blueprint hereto, attached and iaad� a part hereof, the hatched
portions showing the fills
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 20.00
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing_be had on said improvement on the 2�t� day of
Februarq, 1968 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in,the �ity of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
