under Preliminary Order 236371 approved Dece�ber 27, 1967
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of FYnance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said_report, hereby resolvea:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. . That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the 8ide�alk on both sides of E. Baker St. f'ron Mt. Sope Ave. to
Harvard St. and bqdoing a11 other Work �ich is nece$sary and incideatal to com�plete
said i�provaeat, except<�here good and sufficient poured side�alks ao� exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is � 3.25 per lin. ft. for 5' walk
per n. ft. for 6' walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 14th day of
Februarx, 1968 , at the hour of 10 dclock A.M., in the Cauncil Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commisaioner af Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof a,s estimated.
