RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering CAST IRON
WATER FITTINGS to the City of Saint Paul, Water Department, Hamline d, Carroll
Avenues, Saint Paul, Minnesota to UNITE� STATES PIPE d FOUNDRY COMPANY in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid ��2670 of said United States Pipe d Foundry Company for the Contract price
of $30,759.29, such bid being the lowest meeting specifications and said United
States Pipe d Foundry Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized to draft the proper form of
contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby directed to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
