RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract to LYON CHEMICALS, INC. for furnishing and delivering
to the City of Saint Paul Water Department, Purification Plant, c/o Ray Kaplan, 1900 Rice
Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota - 20 Tons COPPER SULPAATE, Comnercial Grade at $398.64 per
net ton, making a total contract price of ,$7,972.80, in accordance with City specifications
therefor heretv attached and the Formal Bid #2665 of Said Lyon Chemicals, Inc. , such bid
being one of two low bids submitted meeting specifications and said Lyon Chemicals, Inc.
being a local vendor and a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is authorized to draft the proper form of contract therefor and the proper
City officials are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul.
