WHEREAS, The Council Investigation and Research Bureau
is a vital and important arm of the Council, whieh has capabilities
of providing the Council with independent studies and data regard—
in.g legislative matters before it; now, therefore , be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the Gity of Saint Paul, that
there is hereby established a Committee on Research, to consist
of th ree members designated by the Mayor, which shall have full
power to direct the activities of the Council I�vestigation and
Research Bureau, subject always to the co ntrol of the Council.
