1 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Parks and Recreation is in the process of finalizing the acquisition of the site laiown as the'
2 Trout Broofi Corridor (Trillium), as authorized by the Ciry Council's resolution CF-01-753; and
3
4 WHEREAS, the current acquisition budget is fully committed; and
6 WHEREAS, in order to complete the acquisition phase and receive all gnnt monies budgeted for acquisition additional costs
7 must be incurred relating to environmental testing, surveying and the natural resource management planning for the site; and
9 WHEREAS, the Norpac Road properry was acquired as a portion of the Trout Brook site; and

ll WHEREAS, the City Council, by its resolution CF-03-452 authorized conveyance of the property in the area known as Norpac
12 Road to the highest responsible bidder; and •
13
14 WHEREAS, proceeds from the sale of said Norpac properry have been received in the amount of $109,993.30; and
15
16 WHEREAS, as a result of the sale of the Norpac Road site, lease paymerns as budgeted in CF-02-204 for said
17 Norpac site haue ceased; and
18
19 WHEREAS, the realized lease paymems were $4,000 less than the amount which was budgeted; and
20
21 WHEREAS, Ramsey County authorized use of $147,000 of its Capital Improvement Dollars to aid in the acquisition of the Trout
22 Srook site; and
23
24 WHEREAS, it is the request of Puks and Recreation that the Capital Improvement Budget be amended for the additional
25 funding as previously described to allow for the completion of acquisition of the Trout Brook site; and
26
27 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon the recommendation of the
28 Mayor, and the positive advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $252,99330 is available for
29 appropriation in the 1999 Capital Improvement Budget, and said 1999 budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by
30 Council, is hereby further amended as follows:
