THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3250, approved August 20, 1g14, as amended, be and the same is hereby further arnended by striking out the first sentence of Section 35 E 3, and by substituting i.n lieu thereof the following: "Any employee who has accumulated sick leave credits as provided above shall be granted leave with pay, for such period of time as the head of the department deems nscessary, on account of sickness or injury of the employee, quarantine established and decla.red by the Bureau o£ Health, ii death of the employee=s mother, father, spouse, child, ! brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, or other person who is a mernber of the household; and may be granted I� leave with pay for such tirne as is actually necessary for � office visits to a doctor, dentist, optometrist, e�tc. , o�r in the case of sudden sickness or disability of the spouse, '� maki.ng arrangements for the care of snch sick or disabled ! spouse. i' Section 2.
