Paul Department of Public Safety bein$ driven on an emer- gency run to the exten� of $60�.69, and certain medical expenses were incurred by Robert Nag1e, a City employee, in the amount of $1�+5.6�+; certain real property of William Haynes, 1060 East Sixth Street was damaged to the extent of $3�0.00; and a gas reeording �auge of the Northern States Power Company wa� damaged � �o the extent of $29�.62; and WHEREAS, Re�is�ered Bill No. 35509 h.as been issued in the amount of $60�+.69 eovering �he City's prop�rty damages and Workmen�s Compensation has been paid in the amount of $1�F5.6� covering the medical expenses of Robert Nagle; and W'IiEREAS, a dispute exists between the Continental National Ameriea� Group insuranee company and the City of Saint Paul as to the liability and responsibili�y for the accident, and as to the amoun� of the damages, and both the City and the parties involved are desirous of' resolving their differences with a set�lement whereby the Continental National Ameriean Qroup insurance company will �nake payment of the claim of William Haynes in the amoun� of $300.00, payment of the claim of �he Northern Sta�es Power Company in �he amount of $29�+.62, payment of damages for personal in�uries to Robert Na�le in the amount of $125.�0, y gayment of damages to �he fire truek of said City to the extent � of $35�+•36, and payment in reimbursement of the Wo��nents Com- o c� pensation paid in the amount of $1�+5.6�; now, therefor�, be it c 0 a � 0 U ,.: N � Q � COUNCILMEN Adopted by the Council 19— Yeas Nays Carlson " Dalglish Approved 19�.
