RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering 800 Lineal Feet of
16" Ductile Iron Water Main and all necessary fittings and appurtenances to the City
of Saint Paul, Water Department, Storeyard, Hamline & Carroll, Saint Paul, Minnesota, to
UATITED STATES PIPE � FOUNDRY COMPANY for the contract price of $5,796.00, in accordance
with City specifications therEf�r hereto attached and the Formal Bid �2635 of said United
States Pipe � Foundry Company, such bid being the lowest and said United States Pipe &
Foundry Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and
hereby is authorized to draft the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City
officials are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint
Paul.
