Dear Sir:
This is in reference to the appl.ication of
Howe Trans�er, Incorporated for permit to operate
a private gasoline dispenser at fihe southwest corner
of Baker Avenue and Smith Street and further described
as 1o�s 2 and 3, Auditors Subdivision 54.
This matter was considered at the October 1.9� 1967
Board of Zoning P•2eeting.
The staff reported that the plan will meet the
design standards for this tyne o.f facility i� the
fol.lowing changes and additions are made: Adequate
screenin� at the west end of the prot�erty should be pro-
vided. This screen should be at least five feet high and
ot�aque. Wheelstons should be provided alon� the Smith
Avenue frontage. The Tr�,ffic En�ineer ��s reviewed the
plan and recommends that tne easterly driveway an Ba,ker
Street be moved to a aoint at 1Past 20 feet from Smith
Avenue.
The Board of Zoning recommended aoproval of the
permit �o ooerate the *�rivate ¢as Aumn provided that the
above mentioned additions and chan�?e are made. The a*�ol.i-
can� has since submitted new plans which incornorate these
chan�es.
