WHEREA���,�e City of St. Paul and the County of Ramsey have
entered in�,o-� �oint use agreement concerning part of the Battle
Creek area, legally described as follows:
"The North 800 feet of the West Half of the
Southeast Quarter (W 1/2 SE 1/4) of Section
Two (2),, Township Twenty Eight (28) , Range
Twenty Two (22) , except the West 540 feet
thereof, subject to roads and streets."
WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey has agreed to reconvey the above
described tract to the State of Minnesota with the understanding
the City of St. Paul shall make application for a State Use Deed
for said property to be used for recreational purposes ; and
WHEREAS , the City of St. Paul, through its Parks Department,
has agreed to improve said tract with a recreational facility to be
used jointly as set forth in an agreement between the City of St.
Paul and the County of Ramsey, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are authorized to execut�
the agreement between the City of St. Paul and the County of Ramsey.
