The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of �nance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That`the said report and the same is hereby appro�ed and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby:ordered to be proceeded with. _
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recnmmends is
to recoastruct the sidewalk on both sides of E. Rose Ave.' fro�m Fr�nk St. to

Duluth 5t-. and by doing all other work which is neetssary and incidet�tal to
co�lete said improvement, except where good and sufficient po}ared sidewalk8
now exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.25 per lin. ft. for 5' walk
$ 3.80 per lin. ft. for 6' walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 23rd day of
Tanuary, 1968 , at the hour of 10 o'cloek A.M., in the Cauncil Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
