WHEREAS, His Excellency Leo Binz, Archbishop of 3t. Paul and
Minneapolis, has recently observed the twenty-fifth anniversasy
as a bishopf and
WHEREA3, the Council wishe� to expresa its appreci�tion to
the Archbi�hop for his �nany services to our community and its
congratulations on his Silver Jubileet and
WHEREAS, the Council deems it fitting to express its sentim�nt
in a public and official manner= now, therefore, b� it

I thank you from mv heart for the Resolution, paseed by the Council of
the City of St. Paul, expressing to me appreciation aad congratulations
in a public and official manner for the occasion of my Silver Jubilee
as a Bishop.
I am grateful also for the beautifully engrossed document with which
these sentiments have been so aplendidly expressed.
I convey my profound appreciation to you, Mr. Byrne, as our Mayor, and'
also to Mr. James J. Dalglish, Comm�isaioner of Finauce, to Mr. William
E. Carlson, Commissioner of Public Safety, to Mr. Bernard T. Holland,
Commissioner of Public Utilities, to Mr. Robert F. Peterson, Commissioner
