U CI RESOWTION PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE � r WHEREAS, (n the matter of Comptroller's Contract L-7046 for the in- stallation and revision of traffic signals at various locations in the City of St. Paul , the specifi.ed date of completion is February 15, 1969, and, WHEREAS, The Contractor, Collins Electrical Construction Company, has prosecuted the work diligently, but because of reasons beyond his control , such as, a rescheduling by his supplier of delivery of the necessary control equipment and rescheduling by the City of related paving proj ects, it will not be possible to complete the contract by the said date of completion and, therefore, be it� RESOLVED, That the proper City officials be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extending the time of completion to August 1 , 1969 provided, however, that this resol- ution shall have no force or effect unless sureties on the contractor�s bond consent thereto, file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller and, be it� FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul hereby waives all claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspection cost on this project be charged by the City on account of this extended period.
