WHEREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but
due to delay ifl the delivery of iighting standards it was not possibie
to coanplete the contract by said date cf completion; tberefore be it,�
RESOLVE�, That the proper City Off�ciais be a�d they are hereby
authorized ar�d di�ected to execute an a�end�aent to said cor�tract extending
the ti�e of caapletion to May 1 , 196g, provided however, that this resol�tion
sl�ail have no force or effect ��less the sareties on the Contr�ctor's bond
consent thereto and file such consent i� writing with the City Comptraller,
and be i t,�
FURTHER RESOLi/ED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all cleira
for liquidated da�ages and t�at no engineering and inspectioA costs on this
p%ject wYll be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
