RESOLVED� That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Co�nittee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering One Hydraulically
operated SNORKEL 50 ft. and 1000 GPM. pump to the City of Saint Paul, ➢epartment of
Public Safety, Public Safety Repair Shop, 1441 Rice Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota,
to GENERAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT CORPORATION, for the contract price of $43�942.00, in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid �k3278
of said General Safety Equipment Corporation, said bid being the lowest bid received
meeting specifications and said General Safety Equipment Corporation being a
reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draft the proper form of contract therefor� and the proper City Officials hereby
are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
