1 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is undertaking The re-construcrion of the Higliland 18 hole golf course; and

3 WHEREAS, the Starter s Shed that was part of the original plan was Lemoved as a cost savings measuTe; and

5 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Foundation fluough the Charles M. Schultz Project Contingency Fund has offered to contribute
6$1Q000 towazds the consiruction budget so that the Starter's Shed can be added back into the project; and

8 VJHEREAS, as a sign of its appreciation Parks and Recrearion proposes that the Starter's Shed be dedicated as a memorial
9 to Charles M. Schultz; and

11 WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are
12 available for appropriation, funds of $ I Q000 in excess of those estimated in the 2004 budget; and

14 WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addirions be made to the 2004 budget:
