RESOLVED, That the Plans and Specifications for a new traffic signal
at Minnehaha Ave. and Ruth St. , Lafayette Rd. and University Ave. and at
Jackson St. and Mt. Airy St.; and for traffic signal revisions at Como Ave.
Lafond Ave. and Marion St., Jackson St. and University Ave. , Marion St. and
University Ave. and at Jefferson Ave. and W. Seventh St. ; and for conduit
installation at Marion St. and Thomas Ave., Jefferson Ave. and Victoria
St. , Ruth St, and Third St. as submitted by the Commissioner of Public Works
are hereby approved and the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to adver-
tise for bids hereon in a manner provided in and by the Charter. Each lump
sum bid shall be accompanied by a statement of total cost of each of the
ten signal projects. The sum of the ten cost statements shall equat a
lump sum bid. The lump sum bid shall be the basis for the consideration
of the award of contract, and be it,
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the cost of the above traffic signal projects
be financed from PIR Fund Code 3001 , the same fund to be reimbursed from
Capital Improvement Bond Funds #926g, from Municipal State Aid, from County
Aid and from Minnesota Highway Department Funds as per City-State Agreement
#56017 as follows:
l . Minnehaha Ave. and Ruth St. - 50°/, for Minnesota Highway Department
Funds, 25% for Municipal State Aid Funds, and 25°/, for Capital Im-
provement Bond Funds.
2. Jackson St. and Mt. Airy St. - 50% for County Aid Funds and 50%

for Capital Improvement Bond Funds.
