St. Paul, Minnesota 55102
Gentlemen:
In view of the acknowledged lack of playground and recreational
facilities in the Summit University area, and the long-term efforts
of the residents of the area to improve both the quantity and the
qulity of the recreationa.l f acilities in the area, as evidenced
through such organizations as the Dale Selby Action Council and the
Summit University Federation, the following metukers of the Pa.rish
of St;, John the Evangelist request and urge that there be no further
delay on the continuing development of Oxford Playground and the
construction of the new recreation center.
We feel that this playground a.nd center has been in the planning
stage for too long, and request that each city council member vote for
immediate action on this project.
