RESOLVED FURTHER,,That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hexeby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same 'to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city afficials are hereby authorized and directed to pra
ceed with the making of said improvement in accorda,nce therewith.

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of St. Paul:
The Coimmissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the preliminary order
of the Council known aa Council File No. 241441 approved Dec. 24th. 1968
relative to reconatructing the sidewalk on both sides of Fry St. from Carroll Ave. to
Concordia Av�. and by doia� a11 other work which is necessary and incidental to co�-
plete said i�provement.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reportse
1, The estimated cost thereof is $3<50 per lin. ft, for standard sidewalk 5 ft4
wide and $4>20 per liQe ft. for standard sidewalk 6 ft, wide.
