• REStpLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract
Committee, therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials
(except that "Furnished by Others") and equipment required to revise extension
panels and to construct an extension on top of the Shepard Road Floodwall as
shown on Plans, Bridge Bureau Dr. No. 81, Sheet No. 1 of 2 sheets, dated February
26, 1969, and revised March 6, 1969, and Sheet No. 2 of sheets dated March 6, 1969.
(Construction operations shall be atarted within two days following notification
to proceed from the Engineer. Said notification date shall not be later than
March 18, 1969. Once the project has been started, it shall be prosecuted
continuously.) to Midwest Erectors for the contract price of $15,120.00 (plus
� Engineering & Inspection Charge - $1,209.60 approx. 8%) in accordance with plans
and specifications therefor hereto attached and Informal Bid #3009 of said
Midwest Erectors , such bid being the lowest and said Midwest Erectors being a
' reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draft the proper form of contracC therefor, and the proper City
� officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the
City of Saint Paul.
